Happening weekend~

Weekend started off on Friday night with the SCO Opening Gala and Y.E.S. 93.3 FM 20th Anniversary Rhapsodies of Spring 2010 春花齐放 2010~! Bwahaha, thanks to the source who got me the tickets, the performance was fantastic, and it's been so long since I've listened to chinese chinese orchestra songs. Violinist was great, and so was the 600k violin that she was using.. :s My only grumble was that the skit was so short! :s It's a rare sight to see all 933 deejays together (:

Seem to be conking out at nights lately. Conked out at about 2am and woke up at 9plus to prepare for the huge Costa Sands party project for the day. And yes, I skipped the talk that I registered for =.= Loaded some stuff to bring to the chalet, went for lunch, and ended up at the chalet at 2plus. It took 2 trips for most of the stuff to be brought over to the chalet, and one more trip to bring my mum + bbq food over. So many things!!!!!!!! While I was still blowing the balloons, Jason + kid and wife arrived.. And the endless rounds of carrying nieces/nephews/cousin began!! Everything snowballed from there and soon we had so many people it's scary :p Miss icy-friendship-only-last-half-an-hour-princess arrived and it took me so long to cajole her to end up playing balloons with her :D

And Pinyan got to play with her because of me, LOL. The first person outside of family to see Janelle. Well done. 

Popped over to Harry's birthday for a while for cake cutting, and mingled for a little while before going back, but alas, Janelle was gone by then! Cleared up everything after they were done with their mahjong and finished at about 2.30, before sleeping at 3plus, near 4. --> Family chalet, so definitely will end up sleeping. Haha.

My brother's friends are uber creative. They gave him a key and told him it was to unlock something. Upon reaching home at noon to collect his old phone (consequence of a stupid act, but it's okay), he found a bike outside our house!!!!!!!!!! BIKE!!!!!!! Okay, he already said I'm more excited than him. :D hahahaha.

BBQ-ed more before returning the equipment at noon time. So ate rubbish food for the entire day, but mum cooked charcoal-ed porridge!! Woot <3 Left the chalet at 5plus, and so damn tired with aching everywhere!!

But still enjoying my Autumn's Concerto now :D

Another workweek, back to the headache paper. I just have this feeling I might have put a little more pressure on myself more than I realized.. But do it, I will! Butchered - Heaven's will. Maybe that's how I'll learn the most in the shortest amount of time.

Lesson no. 1: Never assume

Assuming gets people into silly situations and stupid mistakes.

So remember, never assume!!!!!

Am in 2 minds about the GCIP talk on Saturday. On one hand, I know I'm not really prepared for it, both mentally and knowledge wise. On the other hand.. I really relished the feeling and mugging hard, especially with a friend. Although for now, not much can be said.. =.= Should I go, or should I not. Decisions, decisions..

Maybe I should decide on Saturday, IF I manage to wake up. ... Meanwhile.. I better get back to my paper, so that lessons 2 and 3 won't be tomorrow =.=

Dad: Okay, then can buy car liao lor.
Me: .. You say until like buying vegetables @ market like that.
Dad: Okay, if in 5 years' time you haven't gotten a car, I will pay the downpayment for you.
Me: Wah!
Dad: Because I can get my CPF by then.

I was looking for the above song's MV, because I'm deeply poisoned by the song, and the fact that Pin Guan's one of my fave singers didn't exactly help.. :\ I wonder when is Autumn's Concerto's OST gonna be released.. I <3 this song for the pure sake of the song. And then I saw a related video and decided to click on it..

And omg this is super classic.. 無印良品 that is. They are fantastic! Why did they break off their partnership ten thousand yrs ago?! Could have done a lot more better music had they stay together, not that I'm saying that their music isn't as good now.. :s I just have a thing for duets, even if it's 2 of the same gender. I wonder if I'll ever get to hear them sing live together again. And I went to click yet another related video and got the below. Whole classic song. Hahaha. They look horrible, and it isn't as nice as the live, but.. (:

Spontaneous cycling!

Spent the afternoon and dinner with the gals. Can't believe I waited 45 minutes for a stupid bus, this has got to go into Joyce's personal records. Wth. =.= Surprise, or no surprise, that even though I was 45 minutes late, Grace reached later. :\

And hence we started our cycling trip amongst the crowdddddd. Sunday's never a good time for cycling because of the sheer number of people. But unfortunately, like the rest of the world, everyone is only free on Saturday and Sunday zzz. We didn't take it too far, because all of us have lost our cycling stamina =.= and hence by the time we reached the connector, 1 hour had already passed!!!!! Starting to be very amazed at how Val and I ever completed the entire route and back in 2.5 hours. HOW?!?!

But nevertheless, it was a fun trip, because there was not a lot of people and we could all cycle together <3 I think we all secretly made a resolution to get back THAT stamina, hahaha. =.= Perhaps my resolution for this year should be to complete the route in 2 hours. HAHA.

Waraku after that, and omg my food is deli =] Had a good time talking nonsense and inspecting our oh-too-much food, and I'm glad we had this rather random and spontaneous cycling trip. Heh.

Next week's Autumn Concerto will be good.. (: As usual, so emo over the songs! Excellent OST, I should think, even though there are old songs..

Ok.. It's back...

The entire cycle of nasal voice, pseudo sore throat, sneezing, running nose and the works.. I'm just missing the headache and fever to make it a complete set.. =.= This is not gonna be too optimistic! And I have tuition later. How exciting.

Sick (again)

I sometimes wonder if my grandma is really sick so often nowadays, or does she just want more attention from all her children. All in the best context, of course. Every parent would want his/her children to care for and fuss over him/her more often than they should.

Last night, was just another example.

How funny it can be, when fears arise out of nowhere. Unfounded fears.. At least, at the moment.

Perpetually cold

Haven't been feeling warm since Sunday. :s and it got so bad yesterday I woke up shivering terribly in the middle of the night.

And the best part is, my house has no air con, I closed my door when I sleep, and my windows are not on! AND I'm using 2 blankets, of which one of the blankets I used in frigging Switzerland.

:\ I'm cold blooded!

Bodyguards and Assassins

So disturbing, but so good. No, i'm not psychotic. Both plot and action were very well executed, albeit the gross amount of stabbing and blood. Yet, those were needed for the overall show impact.

Just glad that we didn't end up nua-ing at home and missed the fantastic movie!

Did an amazing feat. I WOKE UP AT 2 TODAY.

0_0 Well done. I haven done this in.. forever??? The past few times where I slept only at 6plus or 7plus, I will automatically wake up at 12.. Oh well, I did wake up at 9 (only due to alarm clock), and then 12, then decided that since I was doing nothing today (or so I thought) I might as well go back to sleep. And the next time my eye opened, it was 2.. 0_0

But at least I had >7 hrs of sleep, which leaves me sufficiently rested, and finally woke up to do some mundane stuff.. Like changing my bedsheet (and nono, it was not because it was sat on by other ppl yesterday :s), catching up on my long lost 桃花小妹, and doing a little tuition work. Unfortunately, I could only manage to catch up 1/2 of ONE pathetic episode.. :s

Because I have to stop and prepare, for going out to watch Bodyguards and Assassins later! Woohoo! :)))))))

Chipmunks and Chipettes!

SOOOOOOOOO cute, I was smiling the entire way throughout the movie. Not quite something I've done for the past movies, or the past couple of days, for that matter. There's always an irritating thing or two, but Alvin and Simon and Theodore has dissolved all that grouchiness =D

Oh dear, I think I'm in love with Theodore! It upsets me to see him sad :(

But as all cartoons go.. All's well that ends well!

Was more than disappointed with the lack of  舞曲 at the start, but the different genres in this album surprised me greatly. And all these songs fit right into my genre of moods now. Will be hooked onto another song soon, I guess.

Boring induction

that has got nothing much to do with me, and even though there can be indirect relevancy, most of it is just non relevancy -.- But the top management are indeed inspiring, and the passion from the rest of the people are just..

Indescribable. I wonder if I can reach that level of passion..

Luckily tomorrow's a break from boring induction! As such, I'll be back @ my desk for the whole of tomorrow. :)

I'm glad yesterday hasn't impacted anything.. Not glad that I have a yet to be replied SMS.. Glad that I saw the cards on my table, and not glad because life has become dull. Phone call put a smile on my face. And my screwed up cousin will have karma. Screwed up. 

After 3 days of non tired feeling, the tired feeling came back!!!

Whoever said holidays are meant for rest :p

Full packed activities through the uber long weekend, starting with the mad dinner on Thursday to the mini urban hike on Friday to the nua-ing + late night movie yesterday to cannot wake up for breakfast this morning. ...

But it was oh so fun and works starts tomorrow with one week's of inductions ahead :s

Bought a pretty little planner for myself yesterday. Looking at it brightens my day up.. :)

But the conv yest really left me quite speechless, of which, I shall decide to head down on Tuesday so I shall not be falsely accused. I mean, if it's really not there, then forget it. But I don't want a false accusation to hang over my head for something I've completely not done. It's damn disturbing, to realize at the end of the day after what I did, to end up with this type of nonsense. Unbalanced.

First day of 2010!

And 2009 concluded nicely.. with WII sans sensors. :\

Personally felt that 2009 had been a year of more downs than ups, for sole personal reasons. And.. I see no need to recall the events, because it's in archives :p I'm just sad that I think I became more grouchy. =.= Woes of growing up. On the other hand.. I've had the good fortune to have very good friends around, old and new. <3

2010 will be good. :) Spent a few hrs with LPY (as deciphered only 5 minutes later), and quite enjoyed myself with the mini urban hike and food, and just let time pass away! *salutes* to Clement, for being our welfare IC once again and coming up with something like that alone!

Headed off to watch movie with parents and aunt after that, and oh man, Treasure Hunter was bad =.=  Weak plot, lousy acting, missing bits and pieces, minimal fighting scenes!!!! Let's just say I spent 33 bucks for family time, la hor. Defnitely not for the movie. Faints. The only thing that fascinated me was that Jay actually looked like he's playing the instrument properly instead of some lousy cmi acting of playing an instrument. Then again, it should be expected of a musician too.. :s And after complaining left right up down, I realize my entire list of want-to-watch movies have almost all "expired".. With the exception of Bodyguards and Assassins, Avatar, Alvin and the Chipmunks II, since I watched Sherlock Holmes (: Sherlock Holmes was so good!!

Second day of 2010, here I come!

Except that I think it's a teeny weeny bit odd that I should still have the pains after 4 days; maybe it's time to visit the doctor (again). Neither gastric nor cramps, just weird and pain.
