PA camp 2010

This is the first time in 10 years that I am not at PA camp on the first day. Feels weird. I'm almost used to going to camp and staying in that mini oven at all times of the day. Slogging over lunch at breakfast, dinner at lunch, and cleaning up the kitchen everyday.

It's also the first time that I didn't stay over at camp at all. Old liao leh? And yet again the first time that I will only be going for (one) night. 

But I sure hope it's something that I can get used to, not being a slave @ camp!

Festive season!

Finally the rounds of festive celebrations are over! 

The rounds of binging with X'mas as an excuse started on Wednesday, went on to Thursday, Friday, and Sunday! (Saturday was relatively peaceful!?)

Meet up with the chem peepz is as always good (albeit whatever things that easily irritates me beforehand) and thought Raindrops had quite lousy service even though the food was not bad. The 1-for-1 fruit beer saved the day and ♥ haven't had it since Switzerland! We had a good chit chat session till 10plus and got home very, very late. Had a havoc Thursday when all the pear/raspberry vodka came out. But it was a good session of Wii-ing and gazing at Nicole and time passed by too fast! Friday was the office party and lots of food and getting suaned, as usual but it was enjoyable and colleagues are ♥ too! They always manage to make me feel good (: 

Left the office very early to collect my redemptions from Panasonic - yes, I bought my new camera!! Loving all the shots that I can take with it now with the 10x zoom (: It DOES make a difference.. @_@ And I'm loving Panasonic already for their quick and efficient service! 

Headed over to py's house for some more food time on Friday evening. Even though lots of food were available from Thursday all the way till Sunday, I somehow didn't eat alot at every meal - I think it's the alcohol getting to me! Thus was VERY hungry by the time I reached their hse but for the first time, the guys controlled and the food on the table was manageable? It feels good to not have the stuffed feeling after eating with them. LOL. Ended up playing mahjong.

Very late in meeting yx for our kbox session on Saturday! Very shocked that I didn't hear the alarm and woke up only when yx called!! It was barely 4 hrs of sleep yet I was so shocked at the thought of not waking up that I think I felt energetic the entire day! I think the highlight of the day was receiving my JJ tickets.. (: and to find that I am going to JJ Party 5! (PLS DON'T LET ANYTHING CLASH WITH IT. PLS.) Christmas day was surprisingly ordinary, with dinner with the family but some good time singing (again?!) and mahjong-ing with the family. Started Christmas by playing mahjong and ended Christmas by playing mahjong! And I concluded that this is a really bad yr for me to be playing mj since I seem to lose all the time! But then again, this year is ending in a week!! HURRAY. 

And 張信哲 really ♥ leh! I'm gonna start k-ing all his old songs and new songs!!!! Whyyyy did I miss his concert this year!

Picnic today was a success and weather did hold up for some good kite flying time! It was a great day spent today and all the people lacking in basic manners can go and fly kite too, I ain't gonna care anymore! 

And that ended all the festivities!

Day off!

And I woke up at 11.30am O.M.G. Half the day over before I knew it. Lol. 

Happening weekend = things spill over to Monday!

Left house THREE TIMES on Saturday. Went to Crocs sales, went to NTUC and be an auntie, popular and got my JJ CD! And then went home, changed, got out for kickboxing! And subsequently went home again, and bathed, AND went out for "Chingay". Lingered till 8 plus before leaving for a birthday celebration. OMG.. 

And what was supposed to be a stay-in Sunday to make my pancakes and do all the misc turned out to be kena cheated to breakfast, temple, shopping day! Gosh, ultimately tired when I reached home at 6pm, with no phone for entertainment the entire day cuz it was on low batt.. Blah!

Ok no time to spare - have to get started on what I didn't complete yesterday!!

"Who's going" 

When the organiser asks people for a meet up? So, I'm not good enough for you to say, ok first, then ask who's going is it?

And why does someone need to reply 3 days later after seeing the SMS? Increase your feeling of self-worth? To show that you are not always available when someone contacts you????? Why???????? And the best part is when I get an answer of "Why not?"

Finally failed again after some time of hiatus state. Rah. Failure, to the max! And I so deserved it this time because I caved in to pekchek-ness. 

Very, very bitchy today. Being at office at this hour staring into space doesn't help.

Hate having time to spare but nothing to do.

No need to:

1) Bathe the dog!

2) Clear up the mess in the house

3) Get holes dug for no reason and me jumping in unknowingly

4) Stress over the car!

5) Take lessons from his students

Weekends without uncle

Turns into a car weekend, emergency tech + plumber weekend, bathe dog + mail man weekend. August is totally taking me as a substitute for uncle!! Following me everywhere. Listening to my commands and meekly staying in a corner when getting scolded :D

I've probably driven more than in the times I did since passing the test, this weekend. =.=" I maintain I'm still somewhat hazardous lah.. Though it was not as scary as before. And ws's car is 0.0 bloody scary! Too huge for comfort.

And the grandma called us over for some tech problem - computer not turned off by the kids and who knew, the entire bedroom was flooded due to pressure from the tap to the pipes!! Emergency tech + plumber in the process. OMG. Cannot imagine what will happen if she had just turned in without checking the computer and getting us to go over, when she doesn't even know her own bedroom is flooded! Dangerous..

Won't be forgetting this date in a hurry! =))

1) Got my JJ tix! Woohoo!! 

2) Bought a new bag (?!) But it's nice and I like it :D

3) Got rewarded for my work =) At least now I know I'm working for something, towards something. And the feeling of confirmation is so good. Settles a little of the heart. It's gonna be damn long before MX 11, but let's work towards there!
