Irritation

I wonder if my character is not fit to be "management". 

I am so irritated at the messy file documentation!!!! What's wrong with these people and why can't they keep proper documentation?! Roar. And I have to edit it myself because I can't stand it. I just can't let go..... And sometimes it's so much easier to do it myself man.

Challenge taught me to, though. Reading through an article yesterday and it made so much sense BUT IT'S SO DIFFICULT TO DO. Summarising the points in the article:

1) Don't edit your staff's work until it becomes your work and not theirs (use the 80-20% rule). 

[mega fail, this one. I read it after I butchered my staff's paper (after my boss butchered it so technically I was butchering my boss' work but oh well)].

2) Shift from providing advice to asking questions.

[trying, trying, but takes time.. Something I also learnt from my boss too, but so hard when it's easier and simpler to dish out advice.]

3) Give ideas in small doses.
