The besties in office

It is very odd but I have two besties in office that I can share (almost) anything with - and both of them supposedly have huge generation gaps with me.

J is my twin who can basically complete my sentences and thoughts, sort of understand my happiness and frustrations and probably knows my entire family tree by name and babies pictures. I've lost her once before due to a gossip monger, but am so glad she took the initiative to come back into my life.  I was pretty affected for that half a year. Screw the gossip monger who is no longer talking to J!

R is the unacknowledged twin whom I can totally relate to, read his thought bubbles and sense his feelings (and annoyance much of the time) much better than his own staff can. Even as he progressed up the ranks (and therefore I can't relate my feelings about office staff 100%, and neither can he), it is almost still the same between us and I'm so happy to have someone whom I can sit down and chat with for 2 hrs randomly. Amazed at how we are so aligned in how we look at things, really. Or maybe it's the influence on each other for the past 6 years (wow, 6 years!).

One is 44 and one is 50, y'know. I don't understand why the generation gap is non-existent. ;-) I'm so glad for these two people in my life but a little sad that things have changed between them some. I miss our three musketeer days together but I know it can't go back to before so I can only settle for the next best which is this. :)
