錢不夠用

Did a bit of finances just - realised that I have been spending way too much :( The alarm came when there was a need to transfer money into the spending account for the second time this month to pay off the CC bills at the end of the month. Gosh, it's time to save! I.Must.Save.

On the other hand, need to find time to write some xmas cards for the office people!!

It's so cold today I can just drop dead omg.

Spending recklessly

These days, big items I have been spending recklessly!!

Laptop - bought after a week of my old one spoiling.

Shanghai - even better. Thought of it on Monday, discussed with Liping on Tuesday, booked tickets on Wednesday!

And now - HTC Desire. Saw the advertisement sent by email on Friday, and more or less made up my mind to order it tonight. Hello to an even smarter smartphone! My boss will be happy that I gave in to the temptation. Hahaha.

Total damage just for these 3 items: 3.5k (factoring in 700 bucks to spend overseas).

Er... I will start to save up soon! Hello to being debt free in July (hopefully because I hadn't factor in all these nonsense!!)

Let's hope that we will have a smashing good time in Shanghai! China - hello again!!

OMG. 55 bucks! A good 20 bucks more than usual. An analysis led me to the 禍根, and I've removed it once and for all from THE phone. Tsktsk. I feel so dumb. Bleah. Good money to pay for a don't-really-need-it lesson. I will NOT anyhow download anything again! :(

Meanwhile, must sleep early, because I must wake up even earlier than usual tomorrow, even though there's no class.. Sigh. I want to sleep in!

Need to curb that "i want to spend" mode

On myself, that is.

I'm itching to get a bag, thinking of changing a purse, more clothes, electronic gadgets (why isn't kindle here?), yada, yada.

And I also really wanna watch Time Traveller's Wife, and G force looks good too.

And I still have my paella and risotto AND now churros cravings.

And guess what? All these need $$$.

I need to be disciplined and only spend on the movies and maybe the food if only if it's not a 800 dollar risotto :s

Sigh.

People are flying all around me. Yuanxu and bro and Andy flew a few weeks ago, and Longhui is flying off this Friday, Andy coming back on Sat, my brother next week, Yuenling flying off on 1st Oct, and Shaun in mid October. Vera in Nov? And Peirong and Yandeng in Dec. Yep, I'd/ I'll miss all of them.

Horror of horrors!

Just did my expenditure list for May and realized I've already spent 260 bucks!! And only 10 days passed, no less. Despite my generous allowance of 20 bucks per day cap, I've still managed to exceed the budget I set for myself -.- Have identified the 3 damaging days: The day I cabbed down to work, Tuesday when I went out for dinner and shopping (for socks lor wth), and Saturday where a trip to Popular set me back by 50 bucks. And the near damaging days are all the result of PA dinners. -.- Horrors!! :( I need to save up more before Shiori appears next weekend!! I guess it's a good thing that it's exam month after all, :\

On the other hand, love megabites! I wish I can go back to eat at NUS everyday! Miss science canteen food!!!!!

A day of home-ness

This dog is really cute!!! It's slippery on floors.

This is a day where nothing will convince me to go out lol. I spent like 2 hrs in TM shopping for the cake and presents!! Ok 1 1/2hrs. Damn speed shopping. But whatever. It was nice having such gatherings from time to time.
